Gaelic Language and Culture Taster Session

Register now to learn useful Gaelic phrases and find out about the culture of Gaelic in Scotland.

Ùidh sa Ghàidhlig? Interested in learning Gaelic? Whether you want to learn or are simply interested in finding out a bit more about the language, come along to our Gaelic Language and Culture Taster Session to hear about Gaelic life, past and present, and learn some useful Gaelic phrases!

Gaelic tutor at the Centre for Open Learning, Catherine Tinney, will be providing our teaching element. The City of Edinburgh Council’s Ann Paterson will also be here to tell us about her experience growing up with Gaelic in Lewis.

The sessions will take place at 11am and 3pm on Thursday 23 February at Paterson's Land, EH8 8AQ.
