Senate discussion on Student Support and Wellbeing

All members of staff are warmly invited to the presentation and discussion section of Senate on Wednesday 5 February 2020.

Senate presentations are an opportunity for all staff to engage in discussion on a key strategic theme. The main discussion topic of this Senate meeting will be Student Support and Wellbeing. Presentations will include:

  • Review of Personal Tutoring and Student Support – presented by Rosalyn Claase (Design Lead) and Professor Emma Hunter (Professor of Global and African History)
  • Student Mental Health Strategy – presented by Andy Shanks, Director of Student Wellbeing

There will also be updates on:

  • Research Excellence Framework – REF 2021
  • Enhancement-led Institutional Review (ELIR)

Key details

The session will take place on Wednesday 5 February at 2.00pm in Appleton Tower (Lecture Theatre 5). It will last for approximately 90 minutes and be followed by tea and coffee.
