Jasmin Paris awarded Barclays Woman of the Year

Jasmin Paris, an ultra-runner and Senior Clinician at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, has been awarded Barclays Woman of the Year 2019.

Jasmin works as a Senior Clinician at the Royal (Dick) School, alongside completing a PhD at the Centre of Regenerative Medicine on acute myeloid leukaemia.

Jasmin is also a well known and successful ultra-runner. She recently became the first female to win the 268 mile Montane Spine Race along the Pennine Way. Jasmin shattered the course record by 12 hours - an impressive feat as she was also expressing breast milk for her 14-month-old daughter at aid stations along the way.
