Climate change march

Travel disruption is expected in Edinburgh Old Town due to a planned climate change march through the city to the Scottish Parliament.

A schoolchildren-led climate change march will be taking place in Edinburgh Old Town on Friday 24 May from midday.

Over 4,000 pupils from schools across Edinburgh are expected to take part.

The march will travel from Middle Meadow Walk, through Forrest Road and George IV Bridge, before turning down the High Street towards Scottish Parliament.

Although no road closures are currently in place, travel disruption is expected.

Please speak to your line manager to make suitable arrangements if you feel that this may affect you.
