Go Abroad funding available for staff
Funding is available for staff to spend a week teaching or undertaking training and career development activities at one of the University’s Erasmus+ partner institutions.
The opportunity is available to all staff on a University of Edinburgh contract, whether from academic or professional services.
Opportunities exist across Europe as well as at selected partners outside of Europe.
Training activities could include:
- Improving understanding of an aspect of your role at a workshop or staff training event
- Getting a new perspective and sharing knowledge by job shadowing counterparts at another institution
- Personal and professional development on an intercultural, international staff week – find staff training weeks in Europe here: http://staffmobility.eu/staff-week-search
To find out more about Go Abroad opportunities for staff, register on the mailing list here: Go Abroad – Staff mailing list
You could also come along to one of our lunchtime roadshow events in August and September to find out why it’s such a great opportunity! Hear from staff who’ve done it before, learn more about where you could go and what you could do, what funding is available, and more.
You can sign up to attend via the Event Booking tab on MyEd by searching for ‘Go Abroad’.
