Staff mentoring scheme open to all

Mentoring Connections is a University-wide programme for all staff.

Mentoring is a valuable development experience that involves building a supportive, non-managerial relationship with another employee to enable professional and career development as well as support for a number of work related topics and goals.

Our experience has shown that mentors and mentees both find real value from participating.

If you are interested you can find more on Mentoring Connections, including a link to apply, here: www.ed.ac.uk/hr/mentoring-connections

Get involved

Interested individuals are encouraged to join up quickly as the programme will close to start the matching process on the 15 December 2017.

After this date all signed-up staff will be contacted before 16 February 2018 with more information on their potential match.

The programme is in need of additional mentors as every year the number of new mentees is well above the number of available mentors. Staff can choose to apply to be a mentor, a mentee or both if interested.

The programme cannot guarantee a match but we will try our best.
