Business idea? Bootcamp it into shape

Edinburgh Innovations can help staff transform their back-of-the-envelope idea into a fully-fledged business pitch in a business bootcamp.

Business bootcamp

The energetic, intensive one-day workshop will challenge staff to rapidly develop their business ideas.

Along the way, enterprise development experts will help staff learn how to connect with their prospective customers, identify their business model and develop it in response to customer feedback.

Staff will also learn about market segmentation and how this applies to their business idea.

Business bootcamp

The event takes place on Monday 4 December 2017 from 9am to 5pm. Lunch will be provided.

It will be held in Room 3211 (Teaching Studio), James Clerk Maxwell Building at King’s Buildings.

All participants must come to the bootcamp with a business idea to work on.

Enterprise development

The Enterprise Development team at Edinburgh Innovations provides practical support for staff interested in setting up a company.

They help staff explore the commercial potential of an idea, offer advice, and help find funding and facilities the business may need.
