Train strike action
Information and guidance for staff about upcoming industrial action that could affect train services.
RMT conductors employed by ScotRail plan to take additional strike action on the following days:
Sunday 10, Monday 11, Thursday 14, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July 2016.
Information regarding services running on a reduced basis or cancelled can be found on the ScotRail website.
To help make arrangements to deal with the disruption, the University has produced a guidance document for staff.
In addition, in recognition of the potential difficulties that staff may face and to assist in minimising any disruption, the University has reduced the cost of the daily scratchcard permit for a University car park from £10 to £5 per day for those staff who normally travel by train on the affected routes during the period of disruption.
Further details are provided in the guidance document.
