Mentoring scheme open to all staff

Mentoring Connections is a University-wide programme for all academic and professional staff

The scheme is offered across the University, and a programme team coordinates the matching process, aiming to match Mentees with Mentors who are one grade above and who work in a broadly similar field.

In particular, mentee applications are encouraged from women, new international staff, new and aspiring leaders and those who through their Annual Review process have identified the need for mentoring around career/professional development.

Mentoring Connections is also looking for mentors at all grades who can offer their experience and support to staff from these groups.

Additional information

Information on the programme, requirements, application process and time commitments can be found on the Mentoring Connections web page. If you would like to find out more general information about mentoring, you may wish to visit the Online Development Toolkit which has a range of further background reading.

The closing date for the next round of applications is Friday 16 December 2016. Matching will take place in January 2017 and all applicants will be contacted then.
