Black History Month 2016
To mark Black History Month in the UK, staff and students are invited to attend a range of events throughout October.
Black History Month celebrates and commemorates the individuals and events that have shaped African and Afro-Caribbean communities - as well those of the Arab and Asian descent - today.
It also provides an opportunity to acknowledge their contributions to modern Britain and countries around the world.

A diverse programme of events – from high-profile lectures to open mic nights – is on offer to mark and celebrate Black History Month.
