Communications success
Edinburgh has won a 2014 Heist Award for an innovative student communications campaign.
The University was awarded Bronze in the Best Internal Communication category for its 'On the Same Page as You' campaign.
The annual Heist Awards recognise and celebrate professionalism, expertise and innovation in communications and marketing in the UK further and higher education sectors.
Innovative approach
'On the Same Page as You' was launched in 2013 by Communications and Marketing's Student Communications Team.
The high-profile campaign was commended for its innovative approach to enabling new dialogue between University staff and the student body.
It's a tremendous achievement for the team who've made a huge impact in such a short space of time, and are playing such an important role in enhancing the student experience and contributing to an integrated internal communications strategy for the University.
Next steps
'On the Same Page as You' aims to ensure students understand that the University cares about them and acts on their feedback to ensure they have the best possible experience at Edinburgh.
The next phase will be a 'You Said, We Listened' campaign, which will be launched in the autumn to promote School- and University-level actions that have been undertaken as a result of student feedback.
