Road safety refresher
This semester, the Transport & Parking Office is also offering Essential Cycling Skills, a short training session in road safety.
Ideal for cyclists of all abilities, the course lasts 2.5 hours and costs £10. It will be staged a number of times over the coming months. Participants will receive a Gold Standard bike lock each.
Staff discounts
Staff can also benefit from money-saving opportunities.
Gold Standard bike locks are available for £10 from the Transport & Parking Office, and selected Edinburgh bike shops also offer a discount to Edinburgh staff (University ID card required).
In addition, the University’s Cycle to Work scheme allows staff to save 30 per cent on the cost of bicycles and safety accessories.
