Yun Posun Memorial Symposium

Staff are invited to attend a University symposium celebrating Edinburgh’s historical connection with former South Korean leader Yun Posun.

The inaugural Yun Posun Memorial Symposium takes place at the University between 4 and 6 March.

The event seeks to promote longer-term understanding and growth of contemporary Korean studies and culture in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Activities lined up for the three-day programme include:

• the Yun Posun memorial lecture
• a networking dinner
• Korean culture show
• talks on Korean issues relating to politics, economics and culture; culture, arts and society; science and technology and more.
