Discuss University priorities

Staff and students are being invited to discuss what matters to the University community for an event to be held on 12 March.

The event is the latest in the Chaplaincy’s ‘What’s the University For’ series, which launched in January 2012.

Interactive

Action sociometry will be used to help identify the values, priorities and motives of students and staff for this interactive session.

Panellists facilitating the discussion will be Jean Grier, Investigations Manager and Research and Projects Officer for the Vice-Principals, and MaryCatherine Burgess, Research Fellow in the School of Health & Social Science.

Influencing policy

‘What’s the University For’ was launched to bring together staff and students from different sites and disciplines to discuss the University’s vision, aims and purpose.

Previous events have generated feedback about the University that has helped influence policy at departmental and institutional level.
