The realignment, which came into effect on 1 May, is to bring new opportunities for cross-disciplinary programming of exhibitions, dynamic internships, teaching opportunities and enhanced public engagement.
Creative relationships
The Gallery will remain within Old College and continue to work holistically to establish creative relationships with university staff, students and external partners.
The realignment further strengthens the Gallery’s international reputation as one of Scotland’s premier modern and contemporary art spaces.
The Gallery is funded principally by the University of Edinburgh and Creative Scotland.
