Open Access on Senate agenda

Part of the University’s Senate Agenda Committee’s next meeting, focusing on Open Access, will be open to all staff.

The presentation and discussion element of the meeting will highlight the growing popularity of Open Access and explore its benefits for authors, institutions and academic communities.

Information will be provided on the services offered by the University’s Scholarly Communications Team and within Colleges, and how researchers and administrators can be supported.

The meeting will also examine what Open Access means for academics at the University, and the opportunities the next few years are likely to bring.

Presentations and discussions will open the meeting, and are expected to last for 90 minutes.
