Adverse weather guidelines

With high winds and gales forecast across many parts of Scotland, staff are reminded to consult the University’s Adverse Weather Policy.

The policy includes guidelines to assist staff members and their line managers when adverse weather conditions may affect the ability to travel to work.

The guidelines cover the issues most commonly raised when bad weather arises.

Advice for staff

These guidelines should form the basis of advice offered to staff who are experiencing problems brought about by extreme weather conditions.
