Rectorial nominations: update
Staff members are reminded that the nominations process for the post of University Rector will shortly close.
Prospective candidates have until noon on Monday 9 January to submit their nominations.
Nominations process
Nominations must include signatures from at least 40 University staff and/or students.
Nominees must also provide written confirmation accepting the nomination as well as confirmation that they are not disqualified from acting as a trustee of a charity under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
Election
The Rectorial election will be held online from 9am on 8 February until 7pm on 9 February 2012 using the University's web portal MyEd.
Rules and nomination forms can be found by clicking on the nominations section on the Rectorial election web pages.
Nominations should be lodged with Dr Alexis R Cornish, Deputy Returning Officer, by noon on Monday, 9 January 2012.
