New Director of Finance

Phil McNaull, Director of Finance at Heriot Watt University, has been appointed as the University’s new Director of Finance.

Mr McNaull, who succeeds Jon Gorringe, will begin his role on 1 September 2012.

Extensive experience

Phil brings to the post wide-ranging experience from both the higher education sector as well as the private sector.

Background

He has been convenor of the Scottish Universities Finance Directors Group, and been active in wider sector activities.

Prior to joining Heriot Watt University he undertook a range of roles at Scottish & Newcastle.

He is a chartered accountant and an alumnus of this University having been awarded an MBA.
