Edinburgh’s best teachers named

Edinburgh University Students’ Association has announced the winners of this year’s Teaching Awards.

The awards recipients were revealed at an event hosted by new Rector Peter McColl.

Established event

EUSA’s Teaching Awards were one of the first events of its kind to be launched by a students’ association in the UK.

Now in their fourth year, the awards are well-established part of the University’s calendar.

This year more than 4,000 nominations were received.

Recognising support

This year a new category was created to reward teaching support staff.

The Supporting Students’ Learning award was presented by the University’s Principal, Professor Sir Timothy O’Shea.
