Jogscotland at the University

The University’s Jogscotland group was set up as part of the University’s commitment to promoting physical activity.

Groups meet regularly across the University and work through a programme of activity.

The groups accommodate all levels of fitness.

There are groups located in the Central Area, King’s Buildings, Little France, Pollock Halls and the Western General Hospital.

Jogscotland is a partnership between Scottish Athletics, the Health Education Board for Scotland (HEBS) and Sportscotland.

"The University of Edinburgh is firmly committed to the welfare of its staff. The JogScotland group is an excellent example of a work-based fitness activity, which has great benefits not only for the individual but to the organisation as a whole."
