Staff celebrate Advice Place award

Staff members gathered this month to celebrate an award granted to the EUSA Advice Place.

The EUSA facility achieved the Matrix Award in advice, information and guidance earlier this year.

A mark of excellence

It is thought to be the first students’ association welfare service to be granted the accreditation.

The national quality award recognises excellence in the provision of information, advice and guidance for learners.

The award comes after the Advice Place's first full year of operation in its new premises in Potterrow.

Over the last academic year the Advice Place has dealt with more than 13,000 enquiries from students. To do this to a standard that has brought them a well deserved National Matrix Award shows just how flexible and professional its staff are.
