IGMM hosts Genetics Society and Genes & Development Summer School
Genetics Society undergraduates meet at IGMM for the annual Summer School: August 2017
More than 30 undergraduates, funded by the Genetics Society and Genes & Development to do research projects in labs across the UK during the summer vacation, came together for the Genetics Society Summer School, hosted by the IGMM, to present their research projects, to debate topical issues in genetics and to listen to speakers talking about their research careers and communicating science. The energy and enthusiasm evident during those 3 days augurs well for the future of genetics research.
