Russia-Ukraine panel

The panel will take place on Thursday, 3 March from 1-2pm, via Zoom. The event, chaired by Dr David Kaufman, will event will feature the following panellists:

• Professor Peter Jackson (Chair in Global Security, University of Glasgow)

• Dr Nataliya Kibita (Honorary Fellow, University of Edinburgh)

• Professor Luke March (Chair of Post-Soviet and Comparative Politics, University of Edinburgh)

• Dr Iain Lauchlan (Senior Lecturer in Russian History, University of Edinburgh)

 

The session will open with short presentations on the situation in Ukraine in both short- and longer-term historical perspective, as well as reflections on the implications for the post Cold War international order. These will be followed by a general discussion and questions from the audience.
