The Scottish Centre for Chinese Studies at the University of Edinburgh offers an extensive programme of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Japanese was first taught at Edinburgh in 1976 and the Honours programme commenced in 1990. Today we offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study.
The Sanskrit Department at Edinburgh is the only one in Scotland (and one of only four in Britain). We teach a wide range of topics in the field of Indology from pure language study to religion.
