These reviews are an important part of the continuum between the quality assurance and quality enhancement that form the basis for the University’s quality assurance ethos.
They also provide subject areas with an opportunity to reflect on their provision and receive recommendations for its enhancement.
Reviews of undergraduate provision are carried out through the Teaching Programme Review process.
Postgraduate provision is reviewed by the Postgraduate Programme Review process.
A key part of the enhancement role of internal subject review is to identify good practice noted in review reports, and promote and raise awareness of good practice to the wider University community.
