National research surveys

The Institute for Academic Development is inviting research staff to participate in two national surveys.

The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) and the Principal Investigators and Research Leaders Survey (PIRLS) are both open until 27 April 2015.

Members of research staff, employed primarily to conduct research, are invited to complete the CROS survey.

CROS is an opportunity to provide information on working conditions, career aspirations and the development opportunities offered at the University.

Colleagues will be invited to complete the PIRLS survey if they are a Principal Investigator or are principally responsible for:

• setting the intellectual direction of research;
• managing research staff; or
• supervising postgraduate researchers.

The Institute for Academic Development, which is managing the surveys, will email access details for the surveys to relevant staff.
