Name the new ECCI cafe

Staff and students are being invited to suggest a name for the café of the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI).

The Centre, a partnership between the University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University and Edinburgh Napier University, will move to refurbished premises on High School Yards this summer.

The cafe name could reflect the building’s green credentials, the work of the Centre or the history of the site.

Entries can be made on the ECCI’s website. The competition closes on 24 April.

The winner will cut the tape at the café’s opening and will be honoured by a commemorative plaque.
