The session takes place on 10 May at the offices of law firm Anderson Strathern.
The course is aimed at academics, professional services staff, managers and team leaders, typically grades eight to ten.
The session covers:
- the importance of recruitment to avoid future problems
- the employment relationship and the duties of employers and employees
- the legal issues around absence and performance
- discrimination and disability legislation
- the pitfalls of not complying with employment legislation.
