New research tool launches

A new project, based at the University, aims to help academics share research.

Vidiowiki enables researchers to upload short video summaries describing their work onto the internet.

Users can record directly onto the site.

This resource helps researchers communicate their research to a broader audience.

It can also be used to explore what other academics are doing and identify potential research crossovers.

Edinburgh academics already involved include Professor Alan Bundy, Dr Till Bachmann and Professor Philip Wadler.

To use the site, researchers sign in using their university email address and invite code ‘uoe’.
