Creative & Cultural Careers Festival

The University's second Creative & Cultural Careers Festival takes place 2-6 March.

The week-long festival, featuring events of interest to staff and students alike, is organised by the Careers Service.

It showcases the creative industries through talks, workshops, information sessions and networking events, covering all aspects of the sector, from journalism, film and television to art therapy, libraries, galleries and computer games.

We are delighted with the number of great speakers we have at all the events in the festival and hope this will offer students a real understanding of how to enter these exciting industries.

Networking opportunities

There will be opportunities to meet leaders in the field and obtain advice on how to gain funding for entrepreneurial ideas.

Staff are invited to take up the networking opportunities offered by the festival and to encourage students to participate.

Colleagues are also invited to host sessions, which entails introducing speakers, in fields in which staff have a particular interest or expertise.

Interested staff are asked to contact Helen Edwards, Event Coordinator.
