School of GeoSciences - Learning Technology Fair
The Learning Technology Fair on Monday 15th February at the ECCI will be run in partnership between Learning, Teaching and Web Services (LTW) and the School of GeoSciences and will showcase innovative digital approaches already being taken in the school as well as an opportunity to find out more about the tools and services that LTW/IS can offer to the learning and teaching community.
The event will take place from 11am - 2pm

Showcasing Digital Innovations
There will be a series of short presentations that will highlight some of the initatives in the School of GeoSciences as well as short intro to the stands at the fair.

Discussion, coffee and browse the Learning Tech stands
There will be an opportunity for discussion with colleagues over tea and coffee and to browse a number of stands at which LTW's Educational Design and Engagement team will be happy to discuss and help with any queries on digital tools/services and approaches as well as an opportunity to try out some tools for yourself
The five stands will cover the following themes:
- Interactive learning and teaching
- Assessment and Feedback
- Open Educational Resources
- Students as Makers and Co-creators
- Exploring Online and Physical Spaces
Talking Head Recording Booth
There will also be an opportunity for you to try out the University's new MediaHopper. Come and record a short Talking Head, perhaps an intro to the course you teach on or an intro to who you are and your area of research. Help will be on hand to show you 'how' you might upload this recording and embed within a webpage, Learn course page etc.
