School of History, Classics & Archaeology

Student Seminar series

The Student Seminar Series is co-organised by Edinburgh University History Society and Retrospect Journal. It is a student-led initiative that gives students at all levels of study at Edinburgh an opportunity to present short papers on their research.

The current theme for seminars is Glory and Gore, and students are welcome to interpret this according to their own research on the past. Students and staff are welcome to attend and to continue the conversation after the seminar. All speakers are current students at the University of Edinburgh.

Time and location

Seminars will take place on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm in 9.18, 40 George Square and on MS Teams. Please email student.seminar.series.edinburgh@gmail.com for a link to join.
