Veronica is an experienced project manager with a passion for people, enterprise, and entrepreneurs. She has worked with hundreds of ambitious academic colleagues over the past 8 years to translate their science into investable companies, enabling access to funding, networks, mentors, and support to grow the idea into a tangible business proposition.

Charlotte has been creating and delivering effective innovation support programmes for over ten years to address key sector technology challenges such as Climate Change, Blockchain, AI and data led technology. Charlotte has worked with corporates such as Telfonica and Cisco and is currently supporting the University’s Data Driven Innovation Programme and its Regional Hubs to grow and develop their entrepreneurship offerings for staff, students, and external companies.

Barbara has a background in immunopathology and toxicology with extensive commercialisation experience gained from working with technology incubators and SME's to major multinationals including J&J, Boehringer and BASF. Her role in the Staff Enterprise team is to help create life science staff start-ups and spinouts. This is achieved by working closely with ECRs and PIs to enable them become investor ready and achieve their commercialisation ambitions.

Kelly supports the commercialisation of projects across CSE; she has worked with ambitious academics for over eight years, to create successful spinout and startup companies. Kelly has 15 years' experience supporting early-stage companies in Scotland to become investable and sustainable and is passionate about building strong teams. With background expertise in Corporate Finance, Kelly is well-connected to funders, investors, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Axel has both academic and commercial experience in cancer biology, therapeutics and genomic diagnostics and has supported academics in biological sciences and engineering as well as a variety of SMEs. He has delivered translational funding programs and served on national and international funding panels, and is familiar with a broad range of funding sources.

Michaela primarily supports staff in CAHSS and CSE. She is an experienced project manager and previously managed a multi-million-pound Creative Cluster supporting data driven creative startups prior to joining the team. Over the last 10 years of her career, she has built her network in the Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem, so she is well placed to point you in the right direction.
