Hands
  • Classification of phocomelia
  • Hand/eye dominance in congenital upper limb amputees
  • Scaphoid acute fixation versus conservative treatment for undisplaced fractures
  • Basal thumb arthritis, including trapeziometacarpal ligament constraint and surgical techniques to treat instability

Shoulder
  • Analysis of the return of function after shoulder dislocation and acromioclavicular joint dislocation

  • Comparison of outcome of open and minimally invasive rotator cuff repair (arthroscopic and "Mini-Open" techniques)

Training/fellowships

Mr CM Robinson runs an industry-funded fellowship for a 6 month period. This fellowship is competitive and candidates are chosen 18 to 24 months prior to commencing. The fellowship is aimed at post CCST trainees with an interest in shoulder surgery and some experience in shoulder arthoscopy/reconstruction and trauma.
