Dr Kenneth Baillie awarded Lowry Fink Fellowship from the International Sepsis Forum
Dr Kenneth Baillie, a member of the critical care research team group, has received the Lowry Fink Fellowship from the International Sepsis Forum in recognition for his work in sepsis.
The International Sepsis Forum (ISF) is a collaborative effort between industry and academia that focuses solely on management of patients with severe sepsis.
The Lowry Fink Fellowship is awarded to one candidate worldwide each year, and will allow Kenny to contribute to the important work of the ISF on high impact projects within the field of sepsis. The Fellowship will help him to deliver his research into the underlying genetic causes of life-threatening sepsis, and to translate understanding of the genome into new targets for treatment.
