Our Admissions team aims to develop and maintain a fair, transparent and consistent approach to admissions at the University to support the recruitment of a high quality, diverse student intake to target.
We develop fair and transparent admissions policies and procedures to support prospective students in their application to the University.
Working with colleagues from across the University we co-ordinate the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions cycles, offering advice and support and liaising between the University and external bodies. We produce admissions information for University web and print publications and manage the publication of entry requirements.
We work with external bodies including colleagues from other universities, qualifications bodies, and UCAS, the Universities and colleges Admissions Service, to develop best practice in admissions and to ensure that we are constantly developing better ways of working. We also produce annual admissions statistical reports to highlight emerging trends in applications and admissions and respond to data requests for admissions information.
