The University of Edinburgh will offer a number of scholarships for postgraduate one year Masters study in any subject offered by the University.
Each scholarship will amount to £4,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. The award will be deducted from your tuition fees.
These scholarships are supported and funded by the Scottish Government in partnership with the University of Edinburgh.
The scholarships will be awarded to citizens of Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, and the USA, and who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate one year Masters programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Please note that the University of Edinburgh will only consider applicants who will be studying on a one year postgraduate Masters degree programme and will not consider for this scholarship those who are studying for an undergraduate or PhD degree programme.
Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer by the scholarship closing date.
Applicants should not have completed an undergraduate degree in Scotland.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.
It is no longer possible to apply as the closing date of Friday 12th May 2017 has now passed.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome in the last week of June 2017.
