Scholarships for Biological Sciences students
The School of Biological Sciences offers bursaries for applicants studying eligible postgraduate taught programmes in the 2025-2026 academic year. For more information on these bursaries including eligibility and how to apply, please see the Scholarships and Student Funding website.
Our postgraduate taught programmes are included in the University’s alumni scholarships schemes. The University offers a 10% discount on postgraduate tuition fees to all alumni who have graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh (conditions apply); or to students who have previously matriculated on a one of our Visiting Programmes schemes as a non-graduating undergraduate student and completed a minimum of one semester of study at the University of Edinburgh (conditions apply).
