Edinburgh Innovations is the University of Edinburgh’s commercialisation service. They lead the University’s activities in industry engagement and business development, enterprise support for students and staff, and the identification, management and commercialisation of University intellectual property.

Scottish Microelectronics Centre
The Scottish Microelectronics Centre is a world class centre for incubation, research and development in the semiconductor sector.
The Centre links academia and technology companies, providing space and support services to start-up companies within this science sector.
The Centre is a joint venture between the University and Scottish Enterprise.
Edinburgh Technopole is a science and technology park just south of the city.
It offers accommodation to a mixture of high growth technology SMEs, and large corporate research and development centres.
