Good Research Practice at the University - looking back and looking forward Join us for the launch of our Good Research Practice Week 2023. This event is open to everyone. During this session, we will unveil the vision which has guided us in planning the week and delve into the diverse timetable of events planned. First on the agenda, we’ll showcase the progress and challenges faced by the research improvement projects initiated during last year's Good Research Practice Week. Next, we'll explore the University’s Research Cultures Delivery Plan, delving into the process that shaped this plan and providing an overview of the actions that lie ahead. After a short break, the spotlight will turn to the Growing Research Together Team from 11:00 am - 12:30. The future of research support will be co-created with colleagues across the university and since the inaugural Good Research Practice Week, the Growing Research Together programme has been gathering pace. Join the Growing Research Together team for a look ahead for what’s in store for year ahead. They will cover important topics, including: Co-creating the future of research contracts services using the insight from the community. Learning gleaned while creating a team of specialist research-project managers that can be drawn upon to support researchers… and the potential of this type of ‘Flexible Resource Centre’ to make access to specialist skills easier and simpler The approach Growing Research Together are taking to think about how we can make the most of research support closest to researchers while benefitting from shared ways of supporting research Considering how we can make it easier for everyone to access the information about their research How we can make the access to research support simpler and clearer.
