Research Cultures Delivery plan round table discussion - Exploring interdisciplinarity in innovation

As a part of good research practice week, we will be reflecting on the Research Cultures Delivery Plan and we invite you to join us for a 90-minute round table discussion centred around innovation and interdisciplinarity. In this session, we will consider the crucial role played by Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts (SHAPE), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects in addressing significant global challenges.

This event will start with an overview of the Research Cultures Delivery Plan’s sections that are related to interdisciplinarity in innovation. Participants around the table will then share their insights and engage in what we hope will be a robust discussion. Together, we'll explore the challenges encountered in implementing these changes and identify the remaining barriers that need to be overcome.

This dynamic round table promises a thought-provoking exploration of how interdisciplinary collaboration can drive innovation and create impactful solutions.

Be part of this essential conversation shaping the future of research and innovation. Your perspective matters.
