All staff have a responsibility to comply with data protection, freedom of information and records management requirements.

Data protection champions

All areas of the University should have their own data protection champion.

Information practitioners

All areas should have their own information practitioner who acts as the first point of contact for information requests.

Heads of business area

Heads of Colleges and Schools and managers of administrative and support services have particular responsibilities.
