Courses & events

On campus and online study skills workshops and information sessions for taught postgraduate students.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update April 2022

In line with University guidance, the Institute for Academic Development is currently offering a mix of online and on-campus activities to staff and students.

All on-campus events are strictly adhering to University and Scottish Government requirements. Online events have been popular with staff and students, more convenient and easier to fit in with other constraints and time demands, which is why they continue to form the majority of our events. Looking to the future we will respond to the needs and preferences of our audiences and continue to offer both online and on-campus opportunities.

The Institute for Academic Development Offices (1 Morgan Lane) is currently closed to in-person events and enquirers. Staff are working in a hybrid way with most staff working part-time on-campus. For enquiries it is best to contact staff by email in the first instance.
