Abstract

In order to successfully cope with the changing demands of University teaching, especially during the current crisis, it is important that teachers are reflective practitioners. The aim of this project is to investigate how providing detailed information about the activities that take place in lectures to teaching staff can support them to reflect on their teaching practice.

The project will utilise data from a previous PTAS project which analysed over 200 hours of lectures. We will create graphical visualisations of this data and through semi-structured interviews with teaching staff will explore how useful this data is to them, whether it aligns with their teaching beliefs and how it will help them to reflect on their teaching practice.
