Recording and publishing lectures using Media Hopper Replay

During this two hour hands-on workshop, you will be given the opportunity to log in and use the Media Hopper Replay lecture recording system. If you would rather a one-hour presentation within your department/school for a group of users, please contact the Digital Skills team at is.skills@ed.ac.uk.

This workshop is aimed at members of staff planning on using the new lecture recording service, Media Hopper Replay to record lectures in the near future. 

During this workshop we will look at:

• The workflow for recording your lectures using Media Hopper Replay
• Entering Media Hopper Replay via the Learn virtual learning environment
• The Media Hopper Replay Instructor interface
• Uploading and managing presentations ahead of your lectures
• How student users view recorded lectures and presentations
• Performing ad-hoc lecture recordings 
• Creating and managing classes and groups
• Your personal content storage library
• The Question and Answer tool
• Viewing analytics for your course
• Course-specific settings

Tailored training

We also offer a tailored session for groups of eight or more staff where we can come to you and demonstrate how to use the Media Hopper Replay service and answer any questions you may have. If you are interested in this service, please fill out our online Tailored course request form.
