Microsoft Teams training resources

With the vast majority of University staff and students now working and studying from home it’s become vitally important that we all have the tools, and knowledge of how best to use these tools, to stay connected.

One crucial tool is Microsoft Teams, which is available to all staff and students. The Digital Skills and Training team, in collaboration with Service Management, have created several Teams resources, including a webinar, which runs twice a week, and a comprehensive PDF guide is currently in development.

'Getting started with Microsoft Teams' webinar

The 1.5-hour webinar covers setting up Teams and Channels, starting and replying to Conversations, using Chat and scheduling and participating in online meetings. The webinar also discusses the etiquette of using Teams effectively and there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the session.
