Free, non-credit bearing courses available for undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines at the University of Edinburgh. We have changed the name of this provision in order to more accurately reflect the nature and content of these courses.
Semester 2 Applications 22/23
Applications for the undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Students have now closed for academic year 2023.
There is another set of ALLIS courses for Postgraduate Research Students which will open for application on Monday 6th March. Applications will close on Sunday 9th April

Applying for ALLIS Courses
Before applying:
- Read the ALLIS course descriptions to ensure you choose the courses most appropriate to your needs.
After applying:
- Please be patient! We will contact you after the application deadline to confirm if you have been given a place.
- Check your email after the application deadline for further communications from us.
Please be aware:
- You must submit a separate application for each course you apply for, and we strongly advise you to only apply to a maximum two courses per semester, or one course in the case of courses for Post Graduate research students.
