The School offers both single and joint honours degree programmes that take four years to complete. During this time you will have an option to study an outside subject, which will add an extra depth to your studies.
Undergraduates interested in literature will have the chance to study at the oldest English Literature department in the world; those wanting to learn a foreign language will have experienced language instructors at hand; and those fascinated by culture have the chance to learn about other traditions and customs.
Undergraduate degrees can be selected from five main subject areas:
Dedicated to the study of Celtic, Gaelic and Scottish languages and cultures.
Study a wide range of literary texts from the medieval period to the present day.
Includes a range of single and joint-honours degrees in Arabic, Persian and Turkish.
