Entry requirements

The minimum grades you need to be considered for a Bachelor’s programme are detailed here.

Please apply using the relevant UCAS Code.

Attaining the minimum entry requirements will not guarantee you an offer of a place.

If an offer is made, it may be higher than the minimum, in line with the grade ranges listed.

Minimum first year entry requirements

SQA Highers

ABBB-AAAA required at one sitting. Two of these must be from:

At least one of these grades must be from Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics.

You will also need Standard Grade Mathematics at Grade 2 and English at Grade 3.

GCE A Levels

ABB-AAA required at one sitting. Two of these must be from:

At least one of these grades must be from Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics.

You will also need GCSE Mathematics at Grade B and English at Grade C.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

32 points overall and award of IB Diploma to include two at HL Grade 5, two of which must be from:

Minimum second year entry requirements

Direct entry into second year may be possible if you meet the requirements.
